- monitoring/expectations of care for gestational diabetes
- lifestyle interventions for gestational diabetes
- medications for gestational diabetes
- treatment targets for blood glucose
- implications of gestational diabetes for labour and birth
- implications of gestational diabetes on long-term health and the future chance of diabetes
- To encourage goal setting and behaviour change relating to treatment targets and personal goals
- To improve confidence around diabetes self-management
- To inform choices leading to better overall health/well-being
- To share experiences with other people through patient stories
The information contained in this course comes in a variety of different types: information to read, videos to watch, links to other websites, patients’ experiences, and activities and quizzes to help you understand more about how to manage situations as they arise.
Managing gestational diabetes is a learning process and you may have picked up many tips and tricks along the way.
